The Eleanor Chase House Work Release houses female offenders.
Residents participate in a child visitation program, MRT, group and individual counseling, parenting and self-esteem classes, chemical dependency treatment programs. Additional programming unique to Eleanor Chase House Work Release include, PICK a Partner, Understanding Trauma, and Healing Through Art, and Spokane Homeless Assistance Response & Prevention Partnership (SHARPP).
Residents are involved with the community through DOC work crews providing labor to benefit non-profit organizations. Residents also provide volunteer work for local social service providers and businesses such as Tree of Sharing and Classy Rack, Sewing/knitting for Project Warm-Up and PHS's Victory House. Additionally, volunteers provide services for Eleanor Chase House including: Spokane Regional Health District, Washington State University Nursing Students, Planned Parenthood, Center for Justice, Dr. Logan Greene/Eastern Washington University, Lutheran Family Services, Rebuilding Families, and Latter Day Saints Volunteers.
