Sometimes it is hard to comprehend what happens when a person becomes incarcerated. This information may help friends and family to understand what the inmate does during the first part of their stay in prison.
When the inmate arrives at their main facility, it is then time to learn where the basic services are to settle into the routine of their stay at the facility.
Preparing to Release
Several things can affect the length of an inmate’s sentence. The segregations and grievance policies should be reviewed early on in the stay. When the time comes near the end of the inmate’s sentence, they may want to begin work on release plans.
Several programs are available to the inmate while s⁄he is incarcerated.
