Vehicle Pursuit
The active attempt by a Department employee using a state vehicle while on duty to chase and apprehend occupants of a moving motor vehicle in excess of posted speeds and other traffic laws.

Vulnerable Adult
A person 60 years of age or older who has the functional, mental, or physical inability to care for him/herself, or 18 years of age or older who have certain developmental disabilities as defined under RCW 71A.10.020; have a guardian as per RCW 11.88; live in a nursing home, boarding home (assisted living facility), adult family home or soldier???s home; receive in home services through a licensed health care agency, hospice or individual provider; and self-direct their own care as outlines in RCW 74.39.050.
