Collective Bargaining Agreements
Many DOC employees are members of a Collective Bargaining Unit, sometimes referred to as a union. The state of Washington currently has ten master agreements covering employees in general government service, as well as most state community colleges, The Evergreen State College, and some 26,000 home care workers.
