FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE April 17, 2008
OLYMPIA – A temporary command change is being made at the Department of Corrections’ (DOC) Monroe Correctional Complex (MCC) while Superintendent Kenneth Quinn undergoes medical treatment, Ruben Cedeño, Assistant Secretary for Prisons, announced today.
Effective April 22, Quinn will be stationed at the Everett field office assigned to special re-entry projects.
“Ken Quinn’s experience at Monroe will be invaluable in addressing several key re-entry initiatives for the Department,” said Cedeño.
Stafford Creek Corrections Center (SCCC) Superintendent Dan Pacholke will be assigned to MCC during Quinn’s absence. SCCC Associate Superintendent Pat Glebe will be temporarily promoted to Superintendent of that facility.
Cedeño said he expects Superintendent Quinn to return to full-time duty at MCC after a full recovery.
