Memorial Funds
Donations to support Officer Biendl's family can be made at any Key Bank location under the name "Jayme Biendl Memorial Fund."
Donations for costs related to the memorial service can be made under the name “In Memory of Jayme Biendl” at any Union Bank, formerly known as Frontier Bank. Any remaining funds will be given to the family.
Memorial Services
The memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, February 8 at 1 p.m. at Comcast Arena in Everett.
Arrival
Due to parking and other considerations, we are asking that you arrive no later than noon.
Parking
Carpooling is encouraged. Here are some parking options:
- Everett Transit Center Parking: The lot is located off 3300 Hill Street. Directions: Drive east on 33rd, which turns in to the parking lot. Shuttle service will be available.
- 10th Street Board Launch: 400 10th Street. This is located off West Marine View Drive. Shuttle Service will be available.
Seating
DOC staff and their families will have reserved seating. Please wear your DOC identification so ushers seat you in the correct area. Enter at the northwest main entrance of the arena. You will be directed via signs and by ushers where to sit. A specific area has also been set aside for Monroe Correctional Complex staff and their families.
Motorcade
The motorcade will consist of only escort motorcycles, the family and support vehicles. No other police vehicles will be involved. Motorcade Route
Attention Law Enforcement, Fire/EMS: There will be no funeral procession for the memorial service. Due to parking limitations, please do not drive large vehicles such as fire engines and ambulances.
Flags
The Governor ordered today that flags should be flown at half staff in recognition of Officer Biendl beginning February 1, 2011.

Flowers can be sent to the Comcast Arena, 2000 Hewitt Avenue in Everett either on Monday, February 7, from noon to 5 p.m. or Tuesday, February 8, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
